My photograhy began on point and shoot cameras while spending several years as an expatriot of the arts and nightlife scene. I was casually collecting image souveniers of remote regional travels, nature, birds, and wildlife. The endeavor grew more driven and became a featured component of these outings.
I emerged from the post covid world formulating a new outlook and a new aesthetic of frills and pastels while reacquainting myself with bohemia, music, clubs, festivals, local color, and characters. I crossed new personal thresholds into drag shows, queer happenings, burlesque, and other bands of shock troops celebrating lives of liberated identity in the Baltimore in which they flourish. Invigorated, embraced and inspired, my lens now gravitated toward people and culture as a deliberate subject. I found myself more connected as a human with other humans. The ride has been momentous, affirming, engaging, and successful. Photography my healthiest and most fulfilling relationship with the artistic process.
